We took a bus up to Boston this weekend to hang with friends and explore. I've been been once before, at the same time last year, and it was a super fun and delightful weekend, so I was excited to visit again for the beautiful leaves and world's most charming graveyards. Last year we visited Salem as well, which was a perfect Halloween experience- but we decided we wanted to try and see some different things this time, and we spent a day out of the city with friends at a farm's fall festival. I'm keeping up with traveling more on instagram since that's so much less involved than blogging, so feel free to follow along!

Being in Boston in October feels like you are walking around inside of a movie- any halloween movie you remember watching growing up as a kid- they all seem to exude that New England charm with spooky historic tombstones, carpets of yellow and red leaves lining the sidewalks, and plenty of cobblestone and beautiful townhome facades. I can't get enough!

  5. New England is the BEST in autumn. I doubt that there's any place like it, at least in the US. I know other places have foliage and autumn, but I just feel like New England has this charm that is unlike anything else. I'm thinking about driving up to Salem in a couple of weeks just to experience it all. There's just something about old colonial towns in the fall.

  7. Love the changing leaves in your hand! Never been to New England but from your pictures it looks as the perfect place in autumn. Beautiful colors and pattern in your sweater, looks great with the red of the tree.
