shadows...
Just got this bow in the mail and wore it for the first time today and it got me feeling festive. Isn't it adorable? I love the little disembodied fangs and the idea of a rogue hair bow gone bad. The black velvet is perfect for that classic halloween feel. Can't you imagine Wednesday Adams owning a pair of bows that could bite?
I don't normally use my wide angle lens for portraits or blog photos, but I liked the idea of using the warping to my advantage this time to add to the overall psychological offness. I wanted to echo the classic horror look as influenced by the german expressionist exaggerated lines and shadows. season's greetings.
