Elusive Spring

Central Park Blossoms from kitsune-kun on Vimeo.

This is what central park looked like on April 4th a year ago. There's narry a leaf or blossom now, and as I was going through old videos I shot I found this one full of lovely sunshine and spring blossoms and thought I'd share it as something to look forward to. Over the weekend we went to DC for the cherry blossom festival, but it was pretty disappointing. It's been too cold of a year I guess. we probably missed the peak by just a week or so which makes it that much more frustrating, but ah well, there are some sakura in new york, just not as many. hope they get blooming soon!

  1. Awww, this makes me want spring to be here so bad! We got a little taste of it here last week, but mother nature is cruel and snatched it away! I'm hoping a cooler spring means a cooler summer, though! Last summer was horrendous!
