Beacon
We spent a Saturday up in a Beacon, a town north of NYC accessible by the metro north. It was fun riding the train with friends along the waterfront and then getting out and exploring the scenery. We visited the Dia museum, which was really really cool, but photography wasn't allowed, so...I only have these two phone photos at the bottom....the main street had lots of cool, interesting shops and restaurants, and such cute buildings.....then we walked through a little wood to get to the museum and back to the train.
This trip was all thanks to my friend, Jendar. She knows all the museums. smack. Thanks for inviting us!
