Ryan and I decided to walk home through Central Park recently, which admittedly took us about five hours, but the weather was lovely and it was so worth it to take in the autumn scenery. So many pretty leaves, friendly squirrels, and colourful birds like woodpeckers and bluejays! I love how some parts of the park are super manicured, planned out, and have a neat purposeful look to them, whereas other parts can feel wild and wilderness-ish, even in the heart of a thriving city. walking the whole length lets you weave in and out of both types of areas, and there is so much to see.

Just savoring the crisp, clear, pleasant autumn weather before the apparent monstrous winter hits us experiencedly unprepared. also how freaking cool is this sweater with those lil embroidered birds? What a treasure. Brilliant design. I'm so excited I ran across this gem of a number.

    I love all the gorgeous fall scenery in the park--I wish we had some like that. Everything around here is already drenched with all the rain, so there are no leaves to play with. In other news, you are so adorable and cold-weather appropriate! I like your gloves and I never would have THOUGHT to tuck something like a sweater into a skirt, so now you have me thinkin'. Thank you for playing with leaves and eating waffles--my inner child appreciates it.
