It's kind of ridiculously pleasant outside for this time of year in New York...like between 50 and 60....and clear skies, so I got away with not wearing tights one last time...maybe. I appreciate the fair weather but I also feel like it's lulling me into a false sense of security and one day BAM, it will be miserably bitingly cold and the only thing I'll be able to wear is layers and layers of not that cute, but warm, sweaters and my ugly down coat. and then what will to happen to outfit posts?

So for now I'll happily party in my cardigan and knee-highs for as a long as the stratosphere will allow me. also all the christmas lights are going up in New York and it's SO pretty! I've been without a camera every time I'm out, but hopefully I'll be able to share soon:)

    Wow, it's warmer there than it has been in Phoenix! I'm freezing here! I really like all of the patterns in this outfit. Oh, and the deer on the back of that cardi is so sweet!

    i looked at the first photo and i was gunna say... aren't you freezing?? hopefully when it actually does get colder you won't be too freezing though! fingers crossed for you! i've been rather pleased with the mild chill where i live too. [though in general it probably gets colder in NY haha]

    I've been going tightless too, which is weird because it usually is unbearably cold around this time. But then again, thinking about unbearable cold, I think that usually happens sometime in January and February ... There is a neighborhood around me in Queens that always puts up really pretty lights for Christmas. I'm thinking about taking a walk with my husband in that neighborhood before it gets too cold to enjoy the pretty lights.

    Beware--that's what happened here. Last Wednesday I went to work without a coat, today the high was 10. 10. I LOVE your pretty green dress and this great cardigan! The hat is a perfect touch!
