We forayed off into Pennsylvania to have Thanksgiving with Ryan's aunt and uncle. The fresh air and colourful countryside are always such welcoming changes from the huge city, and we couldn't ask for better hosts. They are so warm and welcoming and fun- I'm so excited for this week!

So so so full, and we haven't even gotten to pies yet.

(dress: downeast/ refashioned, cardigan: forever 21, socks: target, loafers: vintage)

I am so very thankful for wonderful family and friends who show me love and support, for our comfortable circumstances, for love, for affectionate interaction, for our blessings, for a loving heavenly father and saviour, and for the gospel that helps me understand what that means and why it is important. It lifts me, buoys my spirit in need, and helps me to be a better person to those around me, and to myself.

Hope everyone celebrating had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. I love this outfit so much! You are so incredibly beautiful. :)

It looks like your Thanksgiving dinner was delicious! I didn't eat very much (just one plate, no seconds for me!) but I still went into a food coma, was in a half awake half asleep thingamajig while in said food coma, felt really sick, and now I'm all better and starving, haha. :)

    Happy Thanksgiving, darlin!

  7. I love that house with all that open space! Gorgeous! The fingers full of olives takes me right back to being a little kid. I'm pretty sure there's a picture of me doing the same...they were always my favorite!
