Japan Memories

We went to Japan two summers ago, and it was incredible. All this stuff going on in Japan reminded me I haven't done anything with our pictures from the trip yet, and since we spent half the time in the very northern region where the devastation has hit the hardest, it's been interesting to look at these pictures and realize that these beautiful, tranquil areas were so violently affected. It's both heartbreaking and nostalgic to remember our experiences there and how huge and cataclysmic the residents' experiences are right now. Our hearts are aching for the people in these pictures.



This really is one of the most incredible places I've ever been. I met so many people and saw so many amazing things in just four short weeks. I was so lucky to be dating someone who had lived there and spoke the language and who introduced me to so many characters. I'll never forget it.
