Up the Pacific Coast

These are photos from our trip up the pacific coast highway to Big Sur. The scenery was breathtaking the whole way and if Ryan hadn't held me back I probably would have taken up half the day just taking photos. I really enjoyed the drive. We actually ended up just spending the night in our car the night of July 4th and getting up early next morning to make the trip, so it was full on adventure mode. We made some stops at scenic turnouts, and one of them had all these elephant seals basking out in the sun. That was entertaining.

    I was just talking about big sur with my sister the other day and looking at pictures of it. She stopped of for a few nights as part of her west coast roadtrip on her honeymoon four years ago and loved it. I can't believe how many seals there are! Such fantastic pictures xox
