Nezu
Sometimes (more often than not lately) I just want to let the images speak for themselves and not write anything. We spent a golden afternoon
basking in blooming azelia bushes, and exploring shrine grounds and torii tunnels. As part of the Nezu Shrine Matsuri
celebrations we enjoyed fragrant sake flavoured steamed buns with cold barley tea while sitting on creaking tatami
platforms and listening to the percussive rumble of taiko drumming performances.
I made friends with some koi in a nearby park pond and heard the giggle of young Japanese children catching crayfish and frogs.
Love,
From Japan,
Kathryn <3
