Christmas at Home
I spent the last two weeks of December in Utah with my family for Christmas. It went by really fast, there wasn't much down time at all between visiting both our families, and it didn't snow until Christmas Day, so I was mostly soaking up quality time with people I love and didn't take any photos until Christmas morning, when I insisted we get at least a few white christmas photos and the obligatory sisters with the christmas bears. It was really great to be able to spend time with my sisters all together, especially since we were missing my sister Emily the last two Decembers past while she was in Florida.
I was so glad to be home for Christmas, around everything that felt like home, and truly festive to me according to what I grew up with. Christmas eve with my family spent together in front of our tree is really special to me, and I loved waking up together with my sisters like old times and seeing a winter wonderland outside. We were able to squeeze in a ski day, and a trip to our family cabin complete with a fondue dinner, which were both really fun and gave me a taste of the winter feeling I had been craving.
The Holidays went by way too fast this year! Hope things can feel a little more slowed down and in control next season. For now I'm enjoying the belated Christmas cheer from these photos and already missing Utah and my family. <3
