These are from July- so sue me. I'm really missing desert scenery and wide open spaces- I'm not a city girl so I guess I always will. Don't get me wrong, Tokyo is great, and probably the best city I've been to. But I really miss being able to camp and hike within 20 minutes of where I live and being able to take short trips out to the middle of nowhere. And those desert colours in southern utah. They will always have my heart. Some of these are from my olympus slr and some of these are from a disposable camera I found at Ruby's Lodge gift shop. I really love the way film renders the blue sky against the red, orange, and pink rock.

  3. The canyons in Utah leave me speechless, I totally fell in love with the colors when we visited. We couldn't make it to the Bryce and Arches, so I'm hoping we'll be able to plan another fun road trip to them another time. Oh! and great t-shirt! :)

  4. This is such a breathtaking place. My husband and I want to take a road trip out to the desert with our dog one of these days and see these beautiful formations in person. Our dog is a bit older now and we aren't sure if he can handle a road trip but hopefully we'll be able to squeeze one in. :)

  5. Wow, that looks amazing! I really miss views like this too, I used to go the US every year, but haven't been in about 7 or 8.
Anyway, I guess I'll have to stop by Utah if I ever get the chance;)
