A month late, but better late than never: a very spring outfit, photographed in Springtime in Central Park. I don't usually do pastels, but I was really feeling the candy floss/ ice creamy color scheme during this glorious season of bloom in the city, when delicate pinks and yellows and creams are ubiquitous and invigorating. I'm definitely not missing anything about the sticky, stifling heat of summer in New York, but I'm already nostalgic for springtime in the city parks and gardens. I'm sure Tokyo will still be great next spring though- being sakura central and all.

Actually, I don't think I ever made that official announcement on this blog, what with all the business of graduation and trips and moving and May photo gigs and settling in to our routine in Utah for the summer- We are moving to Tokyo! Ryan was hired by a Japanese firm and we will be spending the next 2-3 years in one of my very favorite cities. The career prospects for me personally are kind of slim- I'l probably be limited to teaching english- but I'm hoping to get some photo gigs while I'm there, and I'm excited about the kind of backdrop I'll have to work with for my portfolio and general photo practise. Who am I kidding though, I'm mostly excited for the FOOD.

The outfit is so right with the cherry blossoms. I'm rather impressed that the pink matches the blooms so perfectly.

Oh! with the excitement I was about to forget to comment about the pics, I love how chameleonic you are with the pink pastel shirt with the gorgeous flowers, oooh and those socks (love!)
