winter outings

I've been falling kind of behind with outfit photos but it's only because I've been having too much fun in Utah with friends and family, and it's so much easier and less time consuming to just document the adventuring on instagram instead of lugging my big camera around everywhere and the subsequent importing, editing, exporting, uploading, and coding that comes later. I just haven't 'felt like it'. We've been skiing, ice skating, cross country skiing, and just barely got back from hiking the Grand Canyon- it's been lots of fun. If you want to follow more closely and join the ride, my instagram name is ohpageboys. I'll try to be better about updating the blog more regularly, but no promises.

So, about this particular day: We drove up to logan to visit friends that live near us in New York, but who grew up in Northern Utah. It was a snowy wintry wonderland and I loved every minute of it. We went ice skating the first night on this big open non-commerical rink and it was magical. Photos didn't turn out great since it was pretty dark, and it was maybe the most fun I've had skating. We had a giant frisbee and raced each other to catch it. The next morning we got up early and went cross country skiing up a nearby canyon, which was absolutely lovely. We came home to sip hot chocolate and change into dry clothes since the snow was coming down thick and fast the whole morning. I brought along my finally finished new mega scarf and their woodsy snow covered backyard was the perfect place to showcase it. We spent the afternoon thrifting and soaking in a local hot spring before heading home.

  12. Oh goodness that scarf is incredible and looks really wonderful on you. The way you are wearing it in the first shot reminds me of anime or manga characters who are all waiting outside for their boyfriends in the snow and when they blow out the air they get a little heart coming out of their breath or something cute.
