Christmas Markets
The day it was scheduled to snow, I excitedly booked it down to the union square christmas markets, only for my hopes to be dashed by the worst sleet. Our boots and umbrellas got completely soaked though and there was not one fluffy snowflake to be seen. At least my literally dampened spirits were lifted by the lights and festivities. On account of having to juggle cameras, umbrellas, wallets, and bags, we opted to not really take that many photos, but hopefully I can share at least a smidgen of the atmosphere- everything was striped like candy canes and strung with lights, and the air smelled like baking and coco. You can bet I'll be back in better weather
Fox pockets! I actually added these to this thrifted sweater quite a while ago, but I just never wore it on a day I had time to take photos. Then I saw all these cat pockets dresses and skirts all over blogs and I felt all unoriginal and didn't feel like posting the sweater at all. But whatever, it's been long enough, and the red is just so festive, I couldn't resist wearing it to the Christmas Markets. There were lots of nice looking (nice smelling) little food booths in addition to the craft and wares booths, and I tried a few wares. First, this cheddar truffle pretzel, and for dessert a giant ginger snap!

I hate it when something I've legitimately done on my own becomes a huge trend before I can blog it... Anyway, your sweater, and your whole outfit, are darling.
