This sweater was on sale in a store in Japan, and although it was out of my usual price range I couldn't resist the little ghost details woven into the wool that looked almost pixelated. Where would I ever find a sweater like that again? I had Halloween in mind the minute I looked at it, and here I am wearing burnt orange trousers to complete the festivities.

I'm currently holed up in my apartment as the whole city has virtually shut down for the storm. I'm getting pumped for halloween by baking, listening to music, and watching movies with Ryan.

Here's what I've been listening to:
The Killing Moon- Echo and the Bunnymen
The organ music from The Haunted Mansion ride
The organ music/ surf rock soundtrack from The Ghost and Mr Chicken
Moon Dance and Piano Solo's from Corpse Bride
Ice Dance and Opening Theme from Edward Scissorhands
ET Main Theme- John Williams
Hedwig's Theme- John Williams
Black Magic- Louis Prima
Sea Ghost- The Unicorns
Arnold's Song- The Creakies
Fashion Monster- Kyari Pamyu Pamyu

What I've been baking:
Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Soup
Pumpkin Chili
Pumpkin Maple Custard
Caramel Sauce

What I've been watching/ Plan on watching:
Silly Symphony Skeleton Dance
Evil Dead 2
Walking Dead
The Innocents
The Ghost and Mr Chicken
Rebecca

Ghost Busters
Hocus Pocus
House of Dark Shadows
Something Wicked This Way Comes

We saw Dial M for Murder in 3D at a screening at Film Forum, and that was pretty awesome.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

  5. that is a great find this sweater! and love the pants on you. I have to admit I've had a single pumpkin based food this year and probably for the last 20 years. they're not all that popular here, but I gotta change that!
