Shizuoka pt 1
Ryan had one day off of work the whole summer, so we decided to take full advantage of a three day weekend and time to travel, and headed to the tip of the Izu Peninsula. We stayed in a little minshuku (like a bed and breakfast- a step up from a hostel- traditional style rooms with dinner and breakfast provided) that overlooked the moon shaped harbor and nearby craggy cliffs and beaches of a small fishing village. We had some incredible meals, and the scenery was breathtaking. It was kind of fun to just live in our swimsuits for pretty much the whole weekend.
