explorers of other worlds
Whilst researching things to do in shizuoka, I found a really campy website advertising 'seawalking'. It looked awesome, so we tried it.
It really felt right out of Jules Vern story- we descended with 50 pound helmets with air tubes that fed up to the boat below and wandered around the ocean floor. Our guide gave us some fish food and a few came and ate out of our hands. It was kind of dark and foggy down there due to the weather, but it added to a mysterious vibe that felt storybookish, so we enjoyed it.

oh wow, these photos are fantastic! i love the helmets you had to wear, they look so cool! though i'm sure they weren't very comfortable, haha.

SO COOL! i can just imagine you finding a kitchy japanese website advertising this - i can imagine the type of website you mean in my head - and i love that you guys did this. the photos are awesome - such a cool experience. you've definitely got a story to tell
