So I know I've mentioned Mister Donut several times, and I've shown the donuts, and talked about how amazing they are, but I don't think I mentioned their point card and their prizes. The prizes here are the cutest. The mascot, pon de lion, is a cute little yellow lion with their signature pon de ring donut around his head like a mane. You can earn points on your card every time you buy donuts, and then cash in your points for cute stuff like pon de lion wash cloths, cases, towels, this tote, and even a cute little doll.

I really wanted to earn as many points as possible and see what kind of cool prize I could take home, when my friend Yui told me she had acquired a bag she wasn't going to use, and would I like it? So somehow this adorable tote just fell into my lap, and I still get to earn points on my card toward something else! ( the doll is 1000 points...I currently have 100, so I'm gonna need to eat and obscene amount of donuts in an unrealistic amount of time..)



Also, I've been on the lookout for cute animal items in Japan, since it's definitely more of a 'thing' here, and so far about 95% of everything is cats- cat shirts, cat sweaters, cat purses, cat earrings, and I just found this cat pin. They even have cat cafes! I love him peeking out of the pocket.









I can not get enough of the cute animal stuff here. It's one of the things I'll miss most when we go back.
