Our Backyard
We have moved into The International House temporarily while we figure out our housing situation. It's mostly like a hotel, but much more low key and traditional feeling, which is nice. The rooms have shoji doors, and there is a tea garden and a koi pond out in the back. We also get a complimentary breakfast every morning, which, well, rocks. Also, I didn't realize we were staying right in the middle and through rainy season here. Summer does not mean sunshine in Japan it seems. It means layers and umbrellas and lots and lots of wet.
dress- thrifted at mode-off (Japan)
socks- 3 coins (Japan)
shoes- vintage
bag-grandma's
umbrella- somewhere in harajuku

1. That stripey dress really suits you, 2. International House sounds really amazing, if I were in Japan I'd like to stay at a similar place, I love how it has a "traditional" feel, 3. From a few posts down, THAT POKE CENTER! That is soo COOL. I was totally obsessed with Pokemon in 5th grade so I too would have been nerding out ;-)
