Kawaii Cape

an outfit:

Ok, meet my new favourite thing ever. ever. I think ever. I love my knit hat with ears a bunch, and I love my fuzzy hoody with ears but this adorable mod looking cape with the cutsey features that makes me weak in the knees added really takes the proverbial cake this time.

bear ear hooded cape: ebay
cobalt skirt: pib's xchange
knit gloves: h&m
boots: internet?
striped cardigan: forever 21

the couple:

we had a fun little date night before the sun went down up at the park with The Cloisters. The interior was already closed, but the grounds were still fun and pretty to explore and had a fun medieval vibe.

places:

I love when the lights come on in the park, but the glowy low sunlight is still touching the scene. it makes it all feel like a fairy land.

for dinner we looked for the best reviewed restaurant in the area, and found a a little venezuelan place with a different variation on papusas, which we loved to get in provo. instead of a corn based patty, these were called patacons, which used mashed plantains, so it was kind of like a burger- two plantain patties holding together a bunch of meat, lettuce, and tomatoes.

and we could not resist this huge slab of flan for dessert! one my my very favourite desserts ever. sooooo goooooood:)

  12. Blue is definitely a color that looks fab on you, and not a lot of people can pull it off like that! Also, those couple photos are so incredibly sweet- the one with the two of you sitting on the park bench looks like a postcard!

  15. My husband and I loved the papusas in Provo! Are the ones you had just as good? If so, what's the place? We've been searching for papusas ever since we've been here.
