wishy washy
Hat: Modcloth
Shirt: thrifted
Shorts: thrifted and reconstructed trousers
tights: kohls
leggings under tights: target
boots: thrifted and SOLD through etsy! yay!
bag: target
That's right, it snowstormed again. March is almost over and there is no end in sight to the cold miserable weather. So this week I will rock hats and scarves and refuse to look at everyone else's pleasant weathered, lightly clad blogs.
Also, these photos looked great on the camera and on the computer when they imported, but now that they're uploaded to the blog they look all weird and blurry like they're under water or something. I have no idea why or how to fix it, but unfortunately you get a display of 1/2 quality wishy washy photos. whatever, could've been worse. at least they're visible.
also also, I was listening to my laftfm radio today whilst grading and The Rutles started playing. I never looked this up nor added it to my library, so it was quite the surprise and made my day. If you're unfamiliar, The Rutles were a mock group in a mockumentary of The Beatles. it's pretty great. Think Monty Pythonish humour, and all good music based. it's a lot of fun- check it out!

What? NO GREEN? I can't believe it's you over there.
ReplyDeleteI love these shorts so much. That's pretty much it.
And you are adorable.
Ugh, I'm so with you on not reading those bloggers in CA or AZ. Curse them and their sunshine!
ReplyDeleteYou should do some tutorials about how you remake clothes. Seriously, how did you do those shorts? They are sweet!
North Meets South
bshhhh this is not tutorial worthy. it's super ghetto. I just cut them to the knee, rolled them up three times and hand stitched the sides. I would be so embarrassed to post that for all those real sewers...ha...seamstresses...to see.
ReplyDeleteAw you look so happy in this super cute outfit. I especially love that you hemmed those trousers! They look great.
ReplyDeleteI also really love that lip color on you! Lately I've been really obsessed with lipsticks.

If you upload directly to blogger, the photos usually end up being distorted. How about try Flickr or something instead? I find it usually keeps the quality of the photos!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, totally love the shorts on you! They are adorable and would be soooo cute in the summertime!
Your boots rock! I wish I would have known about them sooner and perhaps they could have been mine.
ReplyDeleteI never thought to thrift trousers and turn them into shorts.... the legs never fit right but I adore the pleated, high waisted vintage style. I am totally stealing this idea.
