Nostalgic heart cake attempt

As promised, here are the cakes I made for valentine's day:

I sliced a loaf of angel food cake into four about 1/2 inch sheets and cut out heart shapes

Then we made custard in the vitamix (SO fast and easy!) and cut up some strawberries

I mashed the strawberries into a jam consistency, and spread it on the first layered of cakes.

Then I applied custard to the second layer, put the top cake layer on, and dipped them all in melting chocolate.

Then I melted white chocolate to drizzle on top.

I wanted something reminiscent of those little debbie valentine's zebra cake things, so here's my version!
