Nassau
Here are a few film snaps from Nassau, one of the islands we stopped at on our cruise, and the capitol of the Bahamas. I have plenty more phone photos but I think I'll save those for their own post. Nassau was fun to explore- we walked around the main downtown district and made our way to The Queens Staircase and the fort ruins at the top. The tropical plants were so lovely, especially against the old stone european architecture. We spent the first half of our morning snorkeling and checking out the reef and fish, but it was a dark, stormy/rainy day so visibility was unfortunately low. We did see some neat fish though- my favourite were the unicorn ones with their rainbowy scales. For lunch we visited the Fish Fry foe some conk fritters and fresh fruit daquiris.
