These magnolias! These glorious ephemeral disproportionate seasonal beauties! During spring this tree is my favorite tree in Central Park. It's so heavy laden with blossoms the branches bend low and start to feel like some sort of weeping variety. The limbs crawl all over the ground, creating a canopied jungle gym with a pink glow and deep sweet scent. And there are just so many blossoms per square inch. I haven't seen another one like it. Someone's been watering it with Entwash.
