hanaming in tokyo
I spent a whole day a little bit ago wandering around spots in Tokyo with lots of sakura trees while the first bloomers flew and fell like snow in the wind and later bloomers came into their prime. It was a lovely combination of peaceful secluded spots and bustling insanely crowded hubs and a feast for the eyes all around. My favorite spot was probably the shrine grounds I found in Chiyoda with the ground all covered in a layer of sakura petals and gorgeous traditional architecture all around. So many pretty things to see, and I spent such a long time there just gazing. I ended the day with a picnic with Hako Inu in Shinjuku National Garden under a blooming yaezakura tree with sakura snacks of course. It was a lovely lovely day <3
