The Cloisters
Ryan and I visited The Cloisters yesterday, which is a really cool medieval museum just north of us, and free for columbia students. It's a really peaceful and unique setting to find yourself in new york city. It's also home to the famous unicorn tapestries, which I was excited about until I saw how violent they actually are...so much unicorn blood:/ Anyway, it's a beautiful place to spend the afternoon, and I highly recommend it if you visit the city- definitely one of those less crowded hidden gems- and it doesn't feel like you're in America for a nice few hours.

These photos are gorgeous. I'm absolutely in love with the colour combination you've put together in this outfit! So fitting for the location. And you've piqued my interest... Now I'm going to have to look into the unicorn tapestries!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! I love visiting the Cloisters, though I haven't been in many years. Walking up the steps makes me feel as if I'm walking in a medieval Hogwarts!
