Red Butte Gardens

I can't believe these images fell through the cracks and I almost forgot about them! These are from my visit to Red Butte Gardens in Salt lake City when I was with my family for the summer. I feel like they're kind of perfect to share now though, because the day was chilly and gloomy for August and felt like Fall approaching, and there's something definitely moody and haunting about this time of year.

I went with my old college friend Jendar and it was a really lovely afternoon strolling all over the grounds together. We even saw a real live wild rattlesnake hanging out on a rock. The gardens have a brilliant layout- there are so many secluded little nooks and crannies and with different vibes and themes- You could really spend all day there. I'd love to go back with a book and a picnic.
