more abandoned things

The same day we visited Bodie, we also hopped over to another abandoned area- this one one smaller, and actually totally abandoned. It was an old mine with a few structures still standing. We checked out the mine for a bit, but it was a little freaky how far down it went- and I got my white dress all dirty the day before I was supposed to shoot the forest scene for my cotton video. oops. We explored around the buildings till the sun set and then headed over so some hot springs to stargaze.

  8. Oh dang, girl. These photos are seriously stunning. I love the ones where the light streaming through the holes looks like little stars, and you're reaching up to touch them... how very lovely! And your dress is so ethereal and lovely. I felt like I just flipped through a little lookbook, or as Katie said above, a little story! Beautiful work. :D

  9. Very enchanting, both the abandoned place and the dress. Though it sounds a bit dangerous, so I'm glad you were safe not to go to close down.
