A Magic Time
We also got to visit Magic Kingdom in DisneyWorld during our Orlando stay. Magical as always! It was actually raining crazy monsoonal proportions all morning on the way to the park and we were getting really nervous it was going to be an awful day. We hadn't packed any umbrellas or raincoats and it was coming down so hard we couldn't even see a couple feet in front of us. Something told us to persevere though, and as soon as we bought our ticket, the rain stopped. no joke. And we hardly waited in any lines all day!
The most exciting part by far was getting to see the new fantasyland with all the Beauty and the Beast stuff, like the Be Our Guest restaurant, Gaston's tavern, and Belle's house. It was all so awesome and detailed, but it was really hard to get a good photo- you just gotta see it in person. I was also really happy to get a Dole pineapple whip float. sooohohoho good. makes me nostalgic for my Hawaii days. I lived pretty close to the Dole plantation on Oahu and fell in love with their pineapple soft serve. This is the same stuff, served right outside the tiki room.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the one in Florida but have been to Disneyland/world/resort/whatever its called in LA a couple of times and Paris. Loved it! I don't remember a Be Our Guest restaurant, that sounds pretty amazing! :)
How fun! I want to go there, it looks SO entertaining. And it's so good that the rain stopped for you!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the Beauty & the Best section. They were still building it when I went last.

The adventures of Jean Serberg in Disney! You look so cute! I can barely my Disney times as a kid! I was always such a tomboy (still am) that I spent most family trips to six flags
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun. The double exposure photos are really cool too.
ReplyDeleteThe new Beauty and the Beast stuff is so much fun! That was one of my favorites since I was little, and it was really exciting seeing all that. The Little Mermaid ride was cute, too. How lucky that the rain stopped right as you went into the park. I love your little Minnie ears, by the way! She's my favorite classic Disney character. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures i love your outfit :)
