It is my strong and distinct sentiment that there exists an overwhelming lack of hoods in the land o' style blogs. I do love me a good dress, and I do love feeling dapper and costumey, but I nevertheless consistently sense a weak spot for the way a hood adds extra charm and playfulness to an outfit- whether it's a coat, hoodie, or cardigan. I've always liked mixing hoods into outfits, but I noticed when I started blogging I unconsciously saw much fewer hoods, and stopped wearing them as much. I miss them! Luckily in Japan they have lots of cute hooded things in all varieties, and I'm already kicking myself for not buying more styles when I was there for further wardrobe mixology. I fell in love with this panda hoody the minute I saw it- especially because it has the back of the panda included behind. It's details like that what get me all twitterpated over pieces of cloth. I didn't buy it the first time because I was trying really hard to save money and not blow it all on the first clothes I saw. I came back to the store three more times before finally committing and I don't regret it one bit. Also I really love how all the animals in Japan look so pouty.
