The Nutcracker
While visiting my family for Christmas we went to see the Nutcracker. We used to go every year with my grandma when we were younger, so I was really excited to see it again after such a long gap. It was as magical as ever, I think that Pas de Deux song will always make me cry, and I wore green velvet which made me feel fancy. It was no easy feat snapping a few photos of my outfit with my extremely cropped lens and bad, low light, but my dad did a pretty great job helping me out- and I kind of love how Sunset-Boulevardy they turned out. Hope everyone celebrating had a lovely Christmas- I know I'm not ready for the season to be over yet! I'm choosing to take with easy with posting this year- I'd rather just spend time with family. Happy Holidays!

I danced in the Nutcracker for 8 years, and the Pas de Deux music will always make me cry! Tchaikovsky is among my favorite composers for that very reason. That dress and headpiece are so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun dress! I saw The Nutcracker once when I was younger and just about died - it was breathtaking. Happy holidays, pretty lady!
