Things making me happy at the moment are the charlie brown christmas soundtrack, having white hair, and wearing this raccoon dress I made a little bit ago. I'm not the best at sewing, and I still need a lot more practise for my creations to actually turn out how I imagine them in my head- but for the most part I'm happy with this fun little dress....although I do kind of feel like I'm wearing a kids' apron, which wasn't what I had envisioned. ah well. All the photos I tried to take of the back were out of focus. it was one of those days. But for anyone who's wondering, the suspenders cross at the back and connect to the skirt. predictable but classic.

I'm dying to try sewing a dress. So far I've only sewn little pouches and a couple of laptop bags.

  4. So cute! I wish I knew how to sew. I don't think I have the patience for it...lol. Learning how is definitely one of my many life goals. I love animal-themed stuff, too. I always look for giraffe things because they're one of my favorite animals, but there's usually not much around. :\

  6. Even if it wasn't your best sewing job, perhaps, it is impressive that you did it yourself! And I think it's very original, actually. :) You are so lovely! The white hair is something I didn't expect from you but you look fantastic.

  12. I love this dress! Great job. I like that it's got an animal face on it, but still manages to be subtle.
