Kamakura has a ton of really old historical buildings, statues, and temples, and for this reason it's called the 'Kyoto of the Kanto region.' Since it would have costed hundreds of dollars to go to Kyoto, Kamakura was a much closer and economical choice. It was a really beautiful day, rich in history. Some of the things we saw were unbelievably old.

  4. you would make a zelda reference! that totally is a triforce though. and these photos are amazing, as always, your adventures entertain me so much. this is a beautiful place - even if you didn't get to go to kyoto - kakamura still seems like an amazing place to visit!

  6. Beautiful photographs! You really capture the feel of Kamakura, I love all the lush green grass.

    I still remember when my husband and I visited Japan and we went to Kamakura. It was one of my favorite days. Seeing the Great Buddha in person is break taking!
