Japan Leftovers 1
outfit:
top, sweater vest, skirt: thrifted/vintage
As you might imagine, I've got a veritable reservoir or photos from Japan that I haven't had the chance to share yet, which actually proves rather convenient on weeks like the last few I've had where I've really just nannied all day until the sun goes down and there isn't time for current photos anyway.
Here we are walking through the Meiji Jingu Grounds area, cleansing our hands at the basin before the gate, and visiting the huge shrine. We took plenty of video, but I'm still working on editing so. many. things, so, someday. On another note, this entire outfit cost me twelve dollars, so that's fun.

Very nice!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally get that. A few months ago I had the most amazing trip to Singapore, yet I failed to even complete all the blogposts I was planning...!
Ooh, and what a bargain on the clothes!

twelve dollars?!? that's awesome. really really awesome. and these are beautiful - all of your japan images are so stunning - the washing the hands at the basin seems like such an intricate ritual for some reason and it's great you two got to experience it.
ReplyDeletealso i'd love to meet up :) i need someone to explore pennsylvania with - i've been wanting to go to new hope, and columcile, and all these little towns outside of philly, but it feels strange driving there and going alone really. i'm still new to the area and have made a total of 1 friend outside of ones i made from work.
