Toon Town and Tom Sawyer
My sister really wanted to spend a day at Tokyo Disney during her visit, so I headed back again, and luckily this time Toon Town and Tom Sawyer's Island were both open. It was h.e.l.l.a. hot that day, so I wore my lightest, thinnest possible shirt and we carried around umbrellas to hide from the relentless sun. The lines ended up not being as bad this time around though, and we got there right when the park opened to ride the fast pass wave. So we got to ride every ride we wanted to, sometimes twice, and still had time to watch the parades and try all kinds of snacks (honey popcorn, strawberry and cream steamed buns, cheese mousse, apple ice bars, and maple croissants to name a few- all shaped like mickey or minnie, of course).
I also got Ali to watch captain EO for the first time, so that was magical.

i totally love that photo of the japanese girls with their ears - it's something i would take too. i really have the desire to do a 'round the world' disney trip and visit the disneys. that would be crazy expensive and tiring though and by the time you got to the last one you'd probably be disney-d out. the toon town there looks like a more grandiose version of the california one - and the mickey pop you have in the last photo - is it white chocolate? also - the girls' top behind you! awesome. and maple croissants?!? mmmm i can only imagine the food was amazing
