Sea Caves
dress/glasses: vintage sandals: ross?
This was one of the most exploresy beaches I've visited and I really enjoyed all the nooks and crannies, caves, and channels winding their way though bluffs and cliffs. It wasn't exactly hot that day, and the water was unseasonably cold, so we could only stand snorkeling for about 20 minutes before we were both shaking and had headaches and we decided to just walk around, explore, and take photos instead.
My red swimsuit showed more through my dress than I realized at the time too- ah well. Guess this is a slip-essential dress- it's also way too big for me, but I couldn't pass up the beautiful fabric and shape when I unearthed from a pile at a warehouse- thank you belts. I really like the wide collar and the sea foam green, and the material is super thin and delicate.
Isn't Izu so beautiful? It was so hard to go back to Tokyo after a whole weekend of this breathtaking scenery.

I hadn't noticed the swimsuit until you mentioned it, but I do love the dress: colors, fabric, shape, collar <3 and that place looks dreamy.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! I love that it is slightly overcast but imagine that did not help with the cold water situation. Honestly, I get cold snorkeling even in tropical places after about 20 minutes!
ReplyDeleteThis dress is such an awesome print and color and cut too! I totally support the buying decision even if it was a bit big! The last two twirling ones are my favorite! Hope you have a fun weekend planned!

thanks for answering my questions! i love that dress, even how it drapes when it's too big. :) beautiful as usual.
ReplyDeleteSometimes Almost Always
1. I love the dress 2. why don't we always live in places that are that beautiful? What are we doing with ourselves?
