serene green
It's gotten a bit more breezy and chilly lately compared to the crazy warm summer-like weather we've been having, which I really appreciate because I don't have to say goodbye to the tights yet. Ryan and I had a little date together exploring parts of the Metropolitan Museum we haven't seen yet (it is a. huge. museum.) We spent quite a bit of time in the Asian wing, and found some really cool, really old Japanese story scrolls and Chinese murals. My favourite, though, was the replica of a peace garden right in the middle of the museum. They had a little waterfall, koi fish, lots of real plants, and gorgeous architecture. I could have stayed there all day- (I probably would have if Ryan wasn't there to nudge me on to other exhibits). Unfortunately, we only had our very cropped lens with us, so we couldn't really get a whole shot of the whole scene.
We leave for Japan in three weeks! I can't even believe how soon it's coming up- things are so crazy busy.

ReplyDeleteThree weeks??? Skype me!!!
ReplyDeleteI really love the combination of your dress with the patterned tights. I mean, I seriously love this combination.
ReplyDeleteI've never actually been to the metropolitan museum, but I know how huge it is, and I cannot even imagine how long it would take for me to see the museum in its entirety (and I would want to see, and take in everything, of course!).
Hermosa me encanta las medias.
ReplyDelete:)Eres fantástica..<3
Un beso desde México
You're gorgeous! And that dress is amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteJapan in three weeks??? Get out! I bet you two will love it! As usual, your dress is adorable and your photos are great. Sounds like a day well spent!
ReplyDeleteI was doing a google search for Amish boots, and found your post about a visit to Amish country. (I'm working on a novel, and my protagonist is disguised as an Amishman for a brief time.) The picture of you in Amish country was irresistible I'd say your husband is a lucky guy.
ReplyDeleteThese colors work so perfectly together and so do the prints. Such an awesome outfit!
ReplyDeleteI can't take how perfect your outfit is. Those tights and that dress...it's like my dream combination! But wow, the peace garden sounds so...tranquil. I would've stayed there forever too.
