PA pt 4

My skirts match everything in Philadelphia.

Ok, so, yeah, I'm wearing the same thing as last post...these are from the same day, but it was such a long day and we did so much, it felt like too much for one post. So I'm wearing a sweater in these ones. variation! also, airplanes!

A notable thing we did was visit the Mutter Museum. No photos allowed, so, sorry about that. I'm not sure whether to recommend it or not. I don't even know how to describe it...it kind of felt like a freak show museum. It was interesting and unique, but kind of pretty gross. if you like reveling in turn of the century medicinal wonders and maladies, then do it. lots of body parts. lots of weird ailments on display...and 'tools' and 'cures' of the time, which were sometimes more freaky than the actual problem. It's definitely got a cool aesthetic going on what with all the bell jars, collector's boxes, and old hand illustrations....but definitely expect all things grotesque.

So here I am, leaving a little grossed out...it seemed very fitting for the same day we visited the Poe house, though. It felt like a very gothic filled day.

After all the creepy stuff, we went out for ice cream! We visited the Franklin Fountain, an adorable old time themed ice cream shoppe, with a soda fountain and house made flavours. We got a chocolate egg cream and a rum raisin/ pistachio sundae.

And here are some fun lil hipstamatics of the day too- I kind of felt like hipstamatic was the Woody of my apps, and instagram was the Buzz Lightyear...I started feeling guilty for leaving him out and focusing on the newer toy, capable of 'doing' more' things'.... so I dusted Woddy off and brought him out to play again. still a great toy....it's actually way better resolution than instagram.
