perhaps a failed color blocking
I had a really hard time dressing my bottom half today. I knew I definitely wanted to wear this wool scooter, and I love these knee highs, but after looking at the pictures something looked kind of off, so I tried just black leggings, to leave emphasis just on the dress...I can't really decide which one looks better now. Wearing the dress by itself isn't an option, since it's ultra short, and dressing modestly is important, so either way leggings or a bottom layer of some sort is key- also it's freezing outside. what do you guys think? How do you feel about layering over leggings?

I like the black tights.
ReplyDeleteBlack tights would be my vote too :)
ReplyDeleteOk... in my opinion. I think they grey tights and socks are super fun. But the black tights are much more toned down and pretty as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving both! The first for when you are feeling risky, daring, different, and then with leggings if you want to be classic, chic and perhaps want to blend in....but I love how you added the cute socks!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is short, but it fits you so well! Do you have skinny jeans? Ever sport it as a tunic as well? Or you could find a pretty vintage slip and try to add some length by layering it! <33
Cute classes, too!
Black leggings. For sure.
ReplyDeleteI like them both!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to vote for the grey leggings with the knee high socks. The other is cute to, but there is something really cute about socks over leggings.
ReplyDeleteI love the black leggings better than the layered grey, for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove both! I haven't thought about layering over. I definitely should!
ReplyDeleteI like the grey leggings and socks. It looks more fashion-forward. :)

I like them both but black leggings are better xo
ReplyDeleteLayered legwear is so fun. My favorite is the grey look.
ReplyDeleteI think either outfit looks lovely. However, the previous look creates a sort of rebellious look with the knee high socks and the latter look creates a more subtle atmosphere. Both so adorable!
ReplyDeletegeorgeous outfit.
ReplyDeletelove your dress,
love your thight,
love your bottom layer of some sort,
hhahaha, i love all of them
I honestly like the outfit both ways!
