a little belated
Shorts: ASOS
Top: Thrifted
Shoes: Forever Young
Hello Lovelies! I have another totally out of order post for you, but I wanted to get the outfit up before it became way too outdated and irrelevant. First, welcome, if you're new, and thank you so much everyone for your kind comments on the last post. your support is very much appreciated!
These pictures are from our third night here in New York, so pre-beach, and I hadn't gotten much sun at all with the move hectics, so that milk white skin is very telling of the order of this outfit.
This night, we met my high school best friend and former bridesmaid Lizzie, who lives in Brooklyn, for her birthday. We played arcade games and looked at cityscapes.
gotta love those light burns!

You look stunning, a real classic look with the rich lipstick! I loved arcades as a kid, collecting the tickets and exchanging them for prizes was such a buzz!
ReplyDeleteYou look so lovely! That top is so cute and suits you so well!
ReplyDeleteLove, Lisa
To answer your question, I always thrift at the Salvation Army on 46th b/t 10th and 11th. Ive been to a Goodwill on 79th that I like, but it's a bit pricey. The Salvation Army is HUGE and half-off on Wednesdays. Also, beware of consignment shops. They like to slap "vintage" on things and then charge you an arm and a leg for used clothing. Try looking yelp for thrift stores in your area. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful blouse!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love ASOS! And I can tell that you're from NYC because you have a bun at the top of your head :) I'm all about that. And I'm from NYC, too! Love meeting other city bloggers!
ReplyDeleteI love your shirt, it's so adorable! I really like the elegant simplicity of this outfit.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Sabrina
