In the late afternoon, Ryan said he had a surprise for me and took me to Red Butte Gardens for the orchid festival.
Blouse: thrifted, SKirt: thrifted, loafers: thrifted, belt: thrifted
Please excuse the bleh-ness of these pictures. It was a dark, dreary day, all the photos turned out dark, and I had spent all day on the couch without having showered or put on any makeup. Also the gardens were all dead from the freezing winter/spring schizophrenia, so there wasn't life or colour around at all.
It was still a lovely time though, strolling around with Ryan through the grounds. We had the whole place pretty much to ourselves, and there are so many fun nooks and crannies. and the orchids were all so pretty and cool!
(pictures of the orchids below)
such a cute skirt!
ReplyDeleteAside from the weather being horrid, I think the pictures are cute. You look so happy--especially in the ones where you're twirling on the water rocks. I like the little fishies in the water too--and the detailing on your blouse. So nice :)

What a pretty outfit...and all thrifted! Nice!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is amazing! It is very very soft without being cheesy, classy without being too serious. And I love the association of the pastel colour with the black and white touch
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to say, I've just discovered your blog and you are my latest crush. Almost every of your outfit is something I would love to wear (I love a lot of styles on blogs, but there are a lot of things I couldn't wear in real life although it looks amazing on the pretty girls on the blogs)
These pictures are lovely. Your skirt is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI actually really like the pictures... especially the one on the bench. They're sweet. And I like your skirt!
ReplyDeleteThere may not be a lot of color, but there's nothing blah about these photos. SUCH a fab skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love your twirly action photo! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteP.S. My husband said that you and your husband look Jewish, which is the highest compliment he could pay to anyone, seriously. He loves the Jewish people.
Gorgeous photographs! I love the photo of the two of you in the chair - adorable! And the skirt is just gorgeous! It sounds as if you both had a wonderful time!
