It's Muh Birfday

Tacky tacky space magic land. I am now 26! And I found a rainbow unicorn piñata! Nope, don't feel very different, but maybe this is the year I learn Japanese for reals (!?) and that would be a big step forward for sure. It's crazy to digest we'll be getting on a plane to Tokyo in just 3 short days. Crazytown. I think it's shaping up to be a fun day- I spent my morning eating Reese's Puffs in the big living room armchair to the Pee Wee's Big Adventure soundtrack while my family watched and waited ( a fun, weird, awkward tradition in our home)and then I opened presents from family, which were all pretty great: a polaroid land camera, some hand painted bird illustrations to hang in my new apartment, some perfume, and some mustard suede vintage pumps. Thanks family! you know me well<3

I think I'll make a cake later with some violet buds I found, have a lunch date with my dad, and then Ryan has some shenanigans planned later in the evening. I'm so glad I got to spend my birthday with my family before moving away.
