Stars and Stripes
Well, Ryan and I both made it to LA all in one piece, and we had a fun weekend going to museums, exploring boardwalk carnivals, chilling at the beach, and eating so. many. tacos. That's another story though, because TODAY is the fourth of July! And yesterday we drove up to stay with some friends from New York at their parents' to watch their town's 'quatro de tres' fireworks, and I really wanted to have a stars and stripes themed post today so we made a little makeshift bokeh filter and made a little magic happen. It waas fun to play with- next year I'll have to plan more in advance and buy tons of lights ahead of time, because that would look awesome.
We're driving up to Santa Barbara today to join in their festivities ( so glad to not be dealing with LA traffic today) and I'm getting super pumped for fireworks on the beach. Afterwards we're gonna try to drive up the coast and see if we can snag any first come- first serve campsites, so not sure when I'll be back on the internets. ttfn
