I spent last night basking in the long dim glow of the dwindling evening light in my parents' front yard. There's a great view of the mountains and plenty of bright green life that all catch a nice pink and orange as the sun sets, and the big lawn is a good place to lounge. This is where we would come eat our creamies or shave ice together in the grass or on the hammocks. My sister and I were feeling nostalgic so we made cookies and watched The Emperor's New Groove. I had to get my blood drawn earlier and forgot to take off the battle dressing bandaid before photos. welcome to some of my life's gorier details.

    I love watching nostalgic kids' movies with my sister! It always makes for an enjoyable evening.
    This boyishly cute outfit is wonderful. It makes me wish I had a pair of overalls like yours! The striped top is perfect with them!
